Nintendo’s multi-year contract with Armonk, consequently, resulted in the creation of millions of the Broadway microchips, specially designed for the Wii’s unique game play.
Named as Broadway, it is being produced on IBM’s 300mm wafers with Silicon on Insulator (SOI) technology that makes a 20% reduction in energy consumption. The Nintendo’s Wii is expected to be retailed for under $250 USD. IBM Technology Collaboration director Ron Martino said

In addition, now you can officially preorder Wii. Though many may provide this offer, for the time being Liksang may be the first to proffer pre-orders on the console.
