360y_52As we imagine about the HD living room, instantly the brand name Apple rules our minds. Apple developed years back iTune, a digital media player application that is capable of paying TV programs and movies subscribed form iTMS. Microsoft too is planning to replicate the concept that’s why leading to the development Xbox multimedia device that is able to download HD movies and television shows onto its 20GB Hard Drive through XBL. The replica will exploit the XBL service to make subscribers able to download the HD content on the Xbox360 so as to watch it on your TV without undergoing any stream process from a PC to TV.

XBL will offer an abundant 1000 hours downloadable content by this year’s end on the subscription basis (shows will be available for sale while movies on rent) from TV channels including CBS and MTV onto console starting from Nov. 22nd onwards with a debut downloading of HD television show CSI.

It will take around 13 minutes for half-hour SD content downloading with a 3MB/sec BB connection whilst HD content will take hours for the same. The development will obviously require hard drive with greater storage capacity but would elegantly chop the streaming procedure that had to be performed in case of iTune. The new development would be certainly oozing repast of Apple.
