SplitFish GameWare, a top seed in video game hardware designers has announced a dynamic force feedback system that is Sony’s PS3 as well as other next-gen videogame console compatible. The basic PS2 and Xbox are also under consideration.

The SplitFish dynamic force feedback system which was designed to work in compliance with the new tilt, motion and directional sensor technologies that are found in most of the most-generation game consoles. Some interference on PS3 SIXAXIS controller that was caused by rotating mass force feedback systems inspired SplitFish to take the solution from a completely different point of view.

The new force feedback technology with a petite power consumption level is called Sensor Effects or SensorFX. In spite of containing any moving parts to produce sensory feedback it holds a broad range of intensity and sensation with an ability to derive feedback sensations from isolated areas on the controller, to isolate one side or the other, movement from front to back or all areas at the same time.

The SensorFX feedback system will be available as an add-on accessory to exiting controllers that can be very easily connected to the controller via USB, or as an embedded feature having a definite room inside the controller.
