‘Slide Controller’ in the latest Nintendo DS

Recently, Famitsu Magazine has reported about Nintendo’s latest addition. It is a “slide controller” peripheral along with a yet to be released Slide Adventure: Mag Kid. It is an upcoming Nintendo DS game. On DS, peripheral plugs are into the GBA slot and positioned under the system. On a flat surface, if you slide the DS all over, those movements will be detected by the peripheral. In this manner, main character is being controlled by them. For Instnace, mag Kid character will ram into enemies by sliding DS on their direction. It seems that motion control functions are being brought by Nintendo. This makes Wii immensely famous for all the handheld systems. Earlier, a similar thing was done with Wario Ware:Twisted. Despite of having the best titles, no sales record were broke. Via: Ohgizmo
