The release dates of next-gen consoles PS3 and Wii are coming nearer and all the developers are very keen about the launch results. Diverting to a little bit aside, Sony has officially announced the Silver PS2 that will show its appearance I think next year. Sony has this wonderful idea of giving PS2 a new getup after fleeting more than half decade of its release. Sony informed that the PS2 new console with one DualShock controller will be available in limited quantity that will cost you $130.
Sony is trying to play a trick with the buyers by giving PS2 the same appearance like PS3 so that the gamers get little confused on the release of PS3. Only then Sony is bearing a little loss of approx. 10 bucks per console (since PS2 with DualShock controller costs ~140$). But the console will be cool for the parents to save their penny whose childes are insisting for little pricey (than PS2) PS3 consoles.
