Sony is prepared to launch around 700,000 units per territory of its seventh generation console, the PlayStation 3. This estimate is from Sony Americas Computer Entertainment President, Kaz Hirai who fears this might be a big deal to go through. And to fulfill this approximation Sony wants to wait till June 2007.
This estimate may be an exaggeration, even though Sony claims itself a market leader in gaming field, as till June 2007 Microsoft Xbox 360’s will also dawn and EA has already announced Wii price.
