The gaming industry is showing more drift towards the Arcade games as you can see in case of RoboBlitz, Assault Heroes, etc. The arcade games like Gears of War are boosting the online traffic as well. Gears have pumped up the XB Live online traffic by huge 80%. Now the Japanese accessory maker Hori is also headed towards Arcade arena with developing two controllers to engage these to PS3. The controllers are Fighting Stick 3 and Real Arcade Pro 3 for the low and high end PS3 consoles respectively.
The controllers are designed to play arcade fight games like Taken. The controllers give rise to a specially engraved joystick to manipulate the ramous characters. The joysticks are a good enough excuse to give a slip to the buttoned controller. The controller works as you plug it through a USB.
Both the controllers will be out sometime in January for US$ 45 (Fighting Stick 3) and US$ 71(Arcade Pro 3).
