
Microsoft and Toshiba are going to launch their HD DVD players. Microsoft preannounced Xbox 360 HD DVD while Toshiba, HD-A2 and HD-XA2 second-gen HD DVD players holding SOL. The information broke out in a convocation arranged by both the manufacturers.
The Xbox 360 HD DVD comes with plus point of attachment to a PC splitting out 1080i via component. The picture resolution is extremely high of 1080p 24fps that will not play any movie. Also the HDCP and the ICT technology will not be allotted to the device. The launch of HD DVD holding media remote and the King Kong HD-DVD is expected to be popped out on Nov 17th.
While I haven’t got enough info. on Toshiba’s new HD-A2, and HD-XA2, but the I am quite sure that t HD-A2 will make its debut next week whereas HD-XA2 in Nov or Dec.
No words on pricing.
