Princeton announces new Wii-mote accessories due out next month

The worst thing that I hate in Nintendo’s Wii-mote is its high power consumption. Though, this Wii accessory is innovative enough, but it keeps asking for a pair of new lithium battery, every week (it really infuriates me). As, chucking the batteries out is neither good for environment nor your pocket, so we are anxiously waiting for some better/cheap alternative that sorts out the problem of changing the batteries. You whispered it right; a charger. Princeton Technology Corporation is the first to throw the cap into the ring as it has introduced a new pack of accessories for Wii-mote. The accessories are: Battery pack + Charger (PWA-BPS) Wii-mote hook-on accessories (PWA-SPA) PWA-BPS comes bundled with a battery pack and a battery cover for Wii-mote. One can charge the Wii-mote battery while placing it inside the cradle of charger. If you can’t wait, you can get your controller charged while playing with the help of extra eclectic battery. The incarnated LED display keeps you informing whether the battery has been charged or not. In order to thwart the overheating problem of the electric battery, the charger automatically stops charging as the temperature exceeds 50°. You can get controller’s battery completely charged in 3 hours, allowing you a nonstop play of approximately 17 hours. Furthermore, the developer reveals some Wii-mote compatible accessories that can be attached to the Wii-mote in order to have a better sporting experience while playing Wii-Sports like game. The pack comes with a tennis racket, a golf club, bat, and a steering wheel, all to be attached to the Wii-mote with the help of a remote controller holder. To put controller in work, you place it (remote controller holder) where the strap is tied and can enjoy various attachments, simultaneously, which are meant for different minigames. The battery pack and Wii-mote accessories will ship next month for a suggestive price of 3980 (US$32.49) and 1980 (US$16.16), respectively. Via: gonintendo

World of Warcraft fan puts 47 computers together at home

I have seen people play World of War craft over the network a bunch of times. But, I haven’t seen them network 47 PCs together just for the purpose of playing this game. In order to bypass the rest of the outside world, one gamer along with his girlfriend has created a massive residential computer network of 47 computers. I am speechless! The massively multi player online role playing game definitely deserves this kind of attention and networking. The pictures above will give you an idea of the amount of investment this guy has made in the home network. The nice and cushy couches and scroll mouses add to the ease of PC use. What does this kind of network constitute? Well, it has got 23 different local accounts running from the host server. This way there’s no need to wait in line for the outside network. The network hardware consists of QPack and Aopen small platform PCs. The game itself is an action arcade game. I think it’s a mix of everything. It has some shoot ‘em up and some strategy as well. So, unless you are a well versed gamer with a good hand eye coordination, you might find this game not very appealing. I think this is a mega home network of computers that this gamer has put together. The intricate details of the individual and his network are not available. Dragon’s Wii Boxing Gloves hits Wii-Sports Boxers hard

Wii-mote is showing its best use, all-around. Just a day before, Nintendowiifanboy revealed a specimen of its cross-compatibility making it control a PC. But, few Wii passionate over at Dragon Electronics were not feeling at home, with remote’s moderate performance while playing Wii-sports like game, because to hold it with tighter grip for a long time is pretty hard nut to crack. The deliberation made them think of a new and improved alternative, so introduced Wii Boxing Gloves that finds a panacea so that you don’t tear down delicate plasma screen, anymore. If you switch to divineo.cn, you would find all details about innovative boxing gloves that allows you to make better hand movements and acute punches so as to knock your rival out. The game is particularly designed for boxing (Nintendo’s Wii-Sports) that contains specially designed space (like pocket) on the upper surface of each glove to place the Wii-mote and Nunchuck inside it. Pros: • Better grip • Better control • One size fits all (you can adjust to your hand size with a wrist strap) Cons: • No multi-use/specific utility Divineo.cn lists this Wii gaming peripheral for sale at a suggestive price of $12.95. Though, the alterative is good enough, and if you do want to shell out not even a single dough, then it’s your idiocy because a low-priced peripheral can save your overpriced plasma. Decision is yours! Via: i4u

Sony confirms 40GB Playstation3 for European market

Finally Sony has revealed the long-expected 40GB PlayStation 3, which promises a much lower-cost version of the Blu-Ray game console in the European market. While the 60GB version with an extra controller is being phased out entirely and it will drop to £350 in the UK and €499 in Europe. Konami’s football fans! Kick up with PES 2008 on your PC

International teams and a roaring action packed five-minute football match. What happens when this is available as a PC demo? It so readily just kicks up, dosen’t it? This coupled with the awesome graphics and audio developed just like that of the PS3 and Xbox 360, it is a goal all the way for pc gamers. What more can we ask for when it is also supposed to feature the game play run with an Artificial intelligence system that learns and adapts according to the player’s style of playing the game. The PES 2008 (Pro Evolution Soccer 200Smilie: 8) features with an in-house AI programming system called Teamvision. Every player and object is treated as an individual entity, so to speak even with the timing of shots entirely down to the player. The distribution of passes, defending the goal, all of it seems to be working on a similar fashion. Excellent control system with respect to toying before the big goal, dodging and defending the ball seems to make the whole game play experience fantastic. With a 1.1GB PES 2008 demo available for gamers, it’s a huge kick and a great start by Konami. This PES 2008 is said to be released for 360, PS3, PC and PS2 on October, 26th. Via Source: Pro
